We confirm previous advices shared and confirm this week, CHA Office and Staff will be focusing on the transition from old premises to new building ready for the official Opening on Saturday.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION – MONDAY AND TUESDAY this is still a building site
- Building Certification is confirmed
- Sealing the downstairs concrete – Monday
- Landscaping still to be completed
- Installing seats still to be completed
- Painting to be completed
- Banners to be completed and installed
- Testing and complete the audio install
Cairns Hockey plans include
• Tuesday and Wednesday – concentrating on moving and setting up Bar and Outside area
• Move the furniture over and set up as well as waiting for new furniture to arrive
• Hoping to be open for Wednesday Night Masters’ Women to have the first drink at the new facilities followed by Masters’ Men on Thursday Night
• Wednesday/Thursday and Friday moving and setting up new canteen for opening on Saturday with a limited Menu
• Please RSVP to invitations to attend so we can coordinate hospitality and other matters
With no games scheduled for Friday – we are working hard to be ready for the Saturday celebrations
• Facility Open 12.30pm C Grade
• Canteen and Bar open in the afternoon for B Grade and A Grade Games
• All members are welcome to the official opening which will be led upstairs in the open area of the new building.

- 5.00pm – 6.00pm Setting up for the Official Opening – set up area/promotion/food
- 6.00pm Guests arrive – there will be an area in the new building to report to for name tags and outline the evening

- (ii) People available to welcome – name tags
- 6.25pm Official Opening begin

GENERAL NOTICE
As you can see there is a significant amount of coordination and organization to be done this week. We will be doing our best to have some-one at the CHA office available however at times there may be occasions that the office is closed for short periods of time. We apologize in advance if this causes any inconvenience, but we urge you this week to call first before coming into the office to ensure some-one will the in attendance.
