Junior Summer Program: Hockey program for beginners or those with less than two years’ experience. Great way to learn new hockey skills while having fun.
Summer 6’s
Get some family and friends and register a team for Summer 6’s at Cairns Hockey.
The Summer Sixes competition mixed gender teams and It is a modified version of the full field winter competition.
Registration fees apply. $480 for Seniors and Juniors Teams (to be paid before or at the first game). Senior teams can choose between Monday or Wednesday afternoons and Junior teams are on Thursday afternoons.

Summer 6’s SUMMARY
– 8 week Comp: 11th Oct – 2nd Dec
– Monday and Wednesday afternoons: Mixed Senior Teams
– Thursday afternoons: Mixed Junior teams (U10 and U13)
– Cost: $480 per team.
– HQ fee applies if not registered in winter season. $15 for players 9 years old, $32.00 for players 9 to 18 years old and $39 for players 19 years old and over. Must register online, HQ registration link

Indoor Hockey in Cairns
8 week Comp: 11th Oct – 2nd Dec
Monday: u11’s & B – Women (South Cairns Sports Club)
Tuesday: B – Men (South Side), u14’s (Cairns Skating Rink)
Wednesday: A – Women (South Cairns Sports Club)
Thursday: A – Men (South Cairns Sports Club)
Fee structure:
Seniors
Registered for one team: $110 per player + HQ fees
Registered for two teams: $160 per player + HQ fees
Juniors (u17 and younger)
Registered for one team: $100 per player + HQ fees
Registered for two teams: $150 per player + HQ fees
Any fill in players not registered for the team will pay $15 for the game (+ HQ fees if it hasn’t been paid). (A player can only fill in twice for a team)
* A minimum of 6 players required to enter a team.
*Please note that any registered team are only allowed to name 2 players who is registered with another team as well. Therefore, a team registering players who play for another team as well, need to register a minimum of 4 players only playing for 1 team.

Junior Summer Hockey Program
If you just started playing hockey or want to try, here’s a great opportunity!
8 week program: 14th Oct – 2nd Dec
Thursday afternoons from 4:30pm to 6:00pm
For Boys and Girls from 7 to 14 years old with less than 2 years hockey experience.
Cost: $100
HQ fee applies if not registered in winter season. $15 for players 9 years old, $32.00 for players 9 to 18 years old. Must register online HQ registration link
